Such powerful words, yet very soothing and comforting, don’t you think?
If you have done some research, you would have found that there was some confusion
on the origin of this poem and who wrote it. It was finally established that this poem
was written by Max Ehrmann, a poet and lawyer from Terre Haute, Indiana, in 1927.
Meaning “things that are desired,”
There is also some suggestion that this great piece of literary work was related to the
latin word “desaderatum” meaning “something desired”.
The poem has been written 88 years ago.
However, the carefully selected words and sentences carry powerful and wholesome
